Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking candidates for manufacturing roles that require adherence to GMPs, PPE, and food safety programs. Start times can be early (2:00am) with potential overtime as needed, and roles involve operating and maintaining equipment in refrigerated or unconditioned environments.

Ideal candidates will be able to pre-weigh liquids and dries, follow written and verbal instructions, and use SAP and Poka to complete actions.

Qualifications

• Stay up-to-date on all Computer Based Training (Alchemy)
• Follow GMPs, PPE, Code of Ethics, Food safety programs, EHS programs (SPCC, LOTO, EEP, incident reporting), and all material handling safety
• Comprehend and follow verbal instructions, written short correspondence, and memos, including navigating, communicating, and completing actions on supporting applications (Poka)
• Understand and use SAP functions for role
• Demonstrated ability to pre-weigh Liquids and Dries, as certified by a supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to inspect and clean equipment, supporting devices, machinery, and work stations as outline in cleaning plans

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain multiple systems and equipment for batching, weighing, transferring, and storing materials and/or product
• Follow Level II–III procedures and assist in training others as needed
• Operate three systems as certified by a supervisor and use supporting equipment
• Perform duties as assigned by Supervisor or Lead
• Lead and coach other associates on equipment and procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors on safety and process improvements
