Job summary

Chesapeake Spice Co Llc is seeking a hard-working Milling Operator to operate and tend spice grinding equipment, ensuring target granulation and safe, efficient production. You will maintain logs, handle product sampling, and follow BRC guidelines while keeping the area clean and organized.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years in manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in mechanical or manufacturing field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend milling equipment to grind spices to target granulation.
• Run milling processing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow guidelines.
• Complete daily logs, paperwork, and product sampling.
• Fill storage hoppers and open slide gates for processing.
• Clean, replace, and inspect mills and sifters.
• Monitor milling production area and report issues.
