Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search is partnering with an international trading company seeking an experienced spent catalysts trader to join its US trading team and develop the spent catalysts metals sector.

The role requires 7+ years in the spent hydrotreating/hydrocracking catalysts trading sector and deep knowledge of recycled catalysts (Mo, Co, Ni, V, PGMs). Upstate New York is preferred, with some remote work possible.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the spent hydrotreating/hydrocracking catalysts trading sector and wider metals sector.
• Strong knowledge of the recycled catalyst and wider metals sector (particularly Mo, Co, Ni, V, and PGMs).
• Willingness to travel for work as necessary.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially driven and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Located ideally in Upstate New York, potential for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own commercial initiatives to develop business in the secondary materials market.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with processors to maintain product supply.
• Take ownership of full trade lifecycle, from origination and execution to logistics and trade settlement.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure the continuing enterprise is in line with wider commercial strategy of the group.
• Reports into Commercial Leadership.
