Job summary

Topsoe is hiring a Catalyst Technician at our US office in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX. You will support catalyst loadings for clients in the US and Canada and advise on loading practices, coordinating with Technical Service and Sales teams.

The role requires travel up to 60–70% and on-site work when not traveling, with training provided for hydrotreating reactor loading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Ability to obtain TWIC.
• Experience with catalyst loading, particularly hydrotreating reactors, is a plus but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site catalyst loadings advice in the US and Canada to clients on loading best practices.
• Comply with safety and security requirements and training for visiting client sites.
• Answer client questions related to catalyst loading.
• Prepare catalyst loading reports detailing catalyst types and quantities loaded.
• Update CRM with types and quantities of catalysts loaded.
• Travel up to 60-70% of the time; when not traveling, attendance in office is mandatory.

Role Description

Topsoe is hiring for a Catalyst Technician at its US office, located in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX. As a Catalyst Technician in our Clean Fuels team you will be involved in supporting clients during catalyst loadings in the US and Canada to ensure catalyst is loaded within Topsoe’s guidelines. You will work closely with our Technical Service and Sales Teams to prioritize and support the catalyst sales with on-site advise to ensure successful use of Topsoe’s catalyst products.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site catalyst loadings advise in the US and Canada to clients on loading best practices.
• Comply with all safety and security requirements and training for visiting client’s sites.
• Answer client questions related to catalyst loading.
• Prepare catalyst loading reports for clients detailing the types, quantities of the catalysts loaded.
• Update Topsoe’s internal sales system (CRM database) with the types and quantities of catalysts loaded.
• Travel can be up to 60-70% of the time to support on-site catalyst related activities. When not traveling for work attendance in office is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Ability to obtain TWIC
• Experience with catalyst loading, particularly of hydrotreating reactors is a plus but not required – training will be provided.
