Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team in a long-term care setting. The role focuses on evaluating residents, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing, within a supportive work environment.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a speech-language professional who is passionate about helping seniors improve communication, swallowing, cognition, and overall independence.
The Speech Therapist will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy services, and work closely with nursing, medical, dietary, and other rehabilitation professionals to support positive resident outcomes.
Evaluate residents’ speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and resident goals.
Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and required reports.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, recommendations, and strategies.
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in care planning and communicate resident progress and recommendations.
Promote resident safety, independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Follow applicable facility policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania required.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or a related healthcare setting preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
Compassionate and patient approach when working with seniors.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
