Job summary

Concord Care Center in Iowa seeks a Speech Therapist (SLP) to design, implement, and direct customized therapy programs that improve communication and swallowing abilities for residents. New grads and Clinical Fellows are welcome, with flexible full-time, part-time, and PRN options and mentorship support.

• State of Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist License–or eligible to sit for board exams.
• Experience preferred, but new grads and Clinical Fellows welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.
• Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct treatment to help patients improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
• Work closely with residents and staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
