Job summary

Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to design and implement therapy programs that enhance patients' communication and swallowing abilities. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN options, with competitive pay, full benefits, and growth opportunities.

New grads and Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply. We are an in-house therapy team committed to mentorship and professional development to ensure success.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa Speech-Language Pathologist License–or eligible to sit for board exams.
• Experience preferred, but we’re also willing to invest in new grads and Clinical Fellows.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and direct customized speech therapy programs.
• Provide counseling, prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Conduct screenings and diagnoses of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Deliver direct treatment to help patients improve speech, language, and swallowing function.
• Work closely with residents and staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
