Job summary

Greenville Post Acute is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for PRN coverage in Greenville, SC. You will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, collaborating with physicians and the rehab team to deliver personalized care.

Qualifications include an advanced degree in Speech-Language Pathology and an active SC SLP license. The role offers PRN scheduling with potential full‑time opportunities and a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required).
• Must meet state and federal requirements for clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia.
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in line with state guidelines.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings and discharge planning.
• Provide staff education and in-service training.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable).

Position Summary

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations within 24 hours (or 1 business day) of referral
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy for communication, cognition, and dysphagia
• Supervise SLP Assistants (if applicable) in accordance with state practice guidelines
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation
• Participate in care plans, rehab meetings, and discharge planning
• Provide staff education and in-service training
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor (including CFY support if applicable)

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, unencumbered SLP license in South Carolina (required)
• Must meet all state and federal requirements for clinical practice
• Maintain continuing education and good standing with the State Board
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and leadership skills
