Job summary

Camellia Health and Rehab is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to plan, organize, develop and direct Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current standards and regulations. Per Diem/PRN status is available, with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include delivering quality therapy, data-driven treatment planning, family and staff instruction, and CMS-compliant documentation within NetHealth EMR.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency is required.
• Active SLP license in state(s) of practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with standards of practice and department procedures.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop a treatment plan with target, short-term and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover into daily activities.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation per CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR.
• Oversee FEES/MBS protocols and coordinate site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to ensure timely needs assessment with clinical excellence.

Camellia Health and Rehab is hiring for a Speech Therapist SLP to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Status: Per Diem/PRN

Responsibilities

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Job Education & Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
