HCA Healthcare MountainView Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) to help patients improve communication, cognition, and swallowing through evidence-based care. You will work with a collaborative rehabilitation team in a well-resourced setting that values clinical judgment and efficient workflows.

Your responsibilities include evaluating, planning, documenting, educating, and collaborating to ensure patient progress and smooth transitions across care teams.

Qualifications

• MA or MS in Speech Pathology.
• Nevada State licensure to practice Speech Therapy.
• CCC from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• 1–2 years in hospital or rehab setting preferred.
• CFY will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observations.
• Developing and adjusting individualized treatment plans for communication and safe swallowing.
• Documenting evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries with accuracy.
• Educating patients and families on therapy goals, safety recommendations, home strategies, and progress.
• Collaborating with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and care managers for coordinated care.
