Job summary

Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will assess and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, delivering evidence-based care in a well-supported clinical environment.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care managers to ensure seamless transitions and quality

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-L pathology or equivalent.
• State licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Nevada.
• CCC from ASHA required or eligible; CFY considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities using structured assessments and observation.
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans to improve communication and safe swallowing.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on goals, safety, home strategies, and progress expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehabilitation staff, and care managers for coordinated care.
