Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved professional school of Speech Therapy or university with Master’s in Speech Therapy or equivalent.
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals (BLS) REQUIRED.
• CCC-SLP or CA Speech-Language Pathology license or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates plans and administers therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician.
• Assists patients to maximize performance and functioning.
• Participates in department operational and quality improvement activities.
• Maintains documentation per Sharp HealthCare guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with Rehab leadership on clinical and operational projects.
• Promotes patient satisfaction and participates in CQI, rounds, and committees.
