Job summary

BeFit Rehabilitation, LLC in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide part-time support at our assisted living community. The role may transition to full-time and involves Medicare Part A and Part B services for residents.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, has or is eligible for Florida licensure, and demonstrates strong communication and compassion when working with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
• Provide therapy services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and speech impairments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nursing, dietary, and medical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide part-time support at our assisted living community in the Lakeland area. This is a part-time or PRN position where the speech therapist will provide both Medicare Part A and Part B services to the residents of the community. The role can grow into a full-time role.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
