Job summary

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
• Provide therapy services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and speech impairments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nursing, dietary, and medical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide PRN support at our assisted living communities in the Lake Placid area. This is a PRN per visit position where the Speech Therapist will work under both Medicare Part A and Part B services. The role can grow into a part time or full-time role.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
• Provide therapy services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and speech impairments
