Job summary

BeFit Rehabilitation, LLC in Saint Petersburg, FL seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide PRN support in our assisted living communities. The role begins as part-time or PRN with potential to grow into full-time, working alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, dysphagia therapy, and documenting care plans. Florida license and strong communication are required to deliver compassionate care to our elderly

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Florida SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
Provide therapy services for dysphagia, cognitive-communication disorders, voice disorders, and speech impairments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nursing, dietary, and medical staff
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
