Job summary

HCH brand seeks a Speech Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, while assisting the department manager with general policy and procedures. The role requires medical terminology proficiency and competence in evaluation, documentation, and treatment planning.

The candidate must hold a Master’s degree, an Ohio Speech Therapist license, and a current BLS certification, with experience in inpatient/outpatient care and modified barium swallow studies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and current Ohio Speech Therapist license as well as a BLS certification are required.
• Prior experience as a Speech Therapist in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Experience performing modified barium swallow studies.

Must be familiar with medical terminology and standard office equipment. Be competent in the evaluation, documentation, treatment planning and treatment procedures of a patient. Dealing with confidential information, and determines technical and clerical procedures within the department.
