Job summary

Akron Children's is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients referred and to provide instruction to families. This full-time, onsite role requires a master's in Speech-Language Pathology and Ohio licensure.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of experience, CCC-SLP, and proficiency with MS Office. Responsibilities include differential evaluations, treatment planning, documentation, and collaboration across disciplines in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• No supervision experience required.

Technical Expertise

Education And Experience

• Education: Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required
• Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association [ASHA] is required.
• Years of relevant experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred.
• Years of experience supervising: None.
