Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Centerburg, Ohio is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our hospital team and deliver high-quality care to diverse patients.

You will screen, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians and therapists.

The outpatient and pediatrics schedules run 8:00–5:30 and 8:00–6:00 respectively, with one Tuesday off; a full benefits package and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current State of Ohio Licensure.
• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed.
• Current CPR Certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, evaluation, and therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Develop a treatment plan and implementation per doctor referral.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with all ages and socio-economic groups.
• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Evaluations are 1 hour; Adult and Pediatric caseloads with co-treatment as needed.

• Ability to work variable days and hours as needed

Hours and compensation potential:

• Positions are full time. One is for the Outpatient area and schedule is 8am-5:30pm. One position is for the Pediatrics area and schedule is 8am-6pm(most Peds therapists work 4-10 hrs days). Day off is Tues; Wed or Thurs.
• Range is between $36hr(74880)-$42hr(87360) depending on experience. Full benefit package included and a sign on bonus being offered.

What you will be doing:

• Demonstrate critical thinking to provide safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and departmental information.
• Evaluations are 1 hour:
  Adult: will see 8-9 patients(treatments can range from 30-45 mins).
  Peds: will see 8-10 patients daily and treatments can range from 30-45 mins; there is a lot of co-treatment with Occupational Therapy.
• Since we are small community hospital person will see just about any diagnosis.
