Job summary

Mercy in Collinsville, IL is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients, following departmental policies on referrals.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, current or provisional SLP licensure in Illinois, ASHA certification within 1 year of hire, BLS certification, and the ability to respond to emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional Speech-Language Pathologist license in applicable State of practice (Illinois).
• ASHA certification to be obtained within 12 months of hire; extension at leader's discretion; BLS certification required.
• Must be capable of responding to emergency situations.
• One year of experience preferred; experience with patients of all ages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs objective assessments and develops comprehensive individualized treatment programs for assigned patients according to departmental policies and procedures regarding referrals.
• Maintains required certifications and licenses; responds to emergencies as needed.
