Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans. The role requires a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology and an active or provisional SLP license in the state of practice.

ASHA certification within 1 year of hire is expected, with BLS certification also required. You must be able to respond to emergencies and care for patients of all ages as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• Current or provisional SLP license in applicable state.
• ASHA certification within 1 year of hire (extension at leader's discretion).
• BLS certification is required.
• Certifications must be current before caring for patients independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• One year of experience preferred; experience with patients of all ages preferred.

• Follows departmental policies and referral procedures.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed.
• Provides care to patients of all ages as applicable.
