The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and individualized treatment planning to improve patient outcomes. The position involves MBS evaluations, comprehensive documentation, and education of patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• 1–3 years of clinical experience as a Speech Therapist in a hospital, clinical, or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Performs MBS evaluations with Radiology and communicates results.
• Maintains accurate medical records and billing documentation.
• Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Participates in discharge planning and follow-up recommendations.
