Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Speech Therapist (PRN) to evaluate and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders across patients from children to adults. You will collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams to deliver individualized therapy plans and ensure continuity of care.

The role emphasizes MBS evaluations, detailed documentation, and adherence to regulatory and billing standards while supporting patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as SLP in the state of employment; CCC or CFY supervision required/possible.
• Experience with MBS studies and dysphagia management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve outcomes.
• Perform MBS evaluations in collaboration with Radiology and coordinate results.
• Document progress and maintain accurate medical records daily.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate referrals.
• Educate patients and families with clear, instructional guidance.
