Job summary

Cedar River Healthcare Center in Renton, WA is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The role offers pay of $40.00–$55.00 per hour with full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities and all shifts available.

You will evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities; develop individualized treatment plans; monitor progress; and educate residents, families, and care teams to improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Current Washington SLP license
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills
• Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled therapy services based on each resident's needs and goals
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and team members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Follow all applicable professional, state, federal, and facility guidelines
