Job summary

Cedar River Healthcare Center in Washington is seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. You will evaluate residents’ speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

This full-/part-/PRN opportunity offers competitive pay, all shifts, and a supportive, interdisciplinary work environment focused on meaningful resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification, as required.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute care setting is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapy services based on each resident’s needs and goals.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Follow all applicable professional, state, federal, and facility guidelines.
