Job summary

Cedar River Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The goal is to help residents improve communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, with a focus on resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington.
• Current CPR certification, as required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide skilled therapy services based on each resident's needs and goals.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents, families, caregivers, and team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Follow all applicable professional, state, federal, and facility guidelines.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program

Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Washington

Current CPR certification
