Roxborough Memorial Hospital, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and related services prescribed by a physician.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active state license, CCC-SLP or SLP-CF with supervision, and current BLS. Per Diem position on days with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology required.
• Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, free of disciplinary action – OR - SLP-CFs to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.
• At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.

Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action – OR - Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.
• 4. At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
• 5. Current BLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.
