CareOne is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Newton, MA location. The role involves providing and directing resident rehabilitation care, evaluating needs, and creating effective treatment plans. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Therapy is required.
• Current and active Speech Language Pathology license in MA.
• Experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation is preferred.
• Prefer knowledge of governmental and regulatory guidelines for healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct resident rehabilitation care following accepted methods and standards.
• Evaluate residents and establish effective treatment plans.
• Coordinate supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
• Screen residents according to schedules and practices.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on clinical issues and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Participate in center processes and services as directed.
• Manage treatment and related activities efficiently.
• Complete required clinical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate billing records in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participate in in-service training programs; travel to other facilities if needed.

Speech Language Pathologist – Newton, MA

Min $40 - Max $65

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Evaluates residents’ needs and establishes effective and efficient treatment plans for the resident/residents assigned.
• Manages and coordinates the supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in all center directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services.

Position Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy
• Current and Active Speech Language Pathology license within the state of operations
• Prefer experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation.
• Prefer knowledge in governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
