Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within general accepted practice methods while meeting standards.
• Evaluates residents and establishes effective treatment plans.
• Manages supervision of treatment plans with all staff and disciplines.
• Participates in screening of residents according to schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to the supervisor on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in center directed processes and services.
• Manages treatment and non-treatment related activities efficiently.
• Performs clinical documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintains billing records to meet requirements.
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participates in in-service training programs.
• May travel to other facilities to provide services.

Salary Range: $40 - $57 per hour

Position Information: We are looking for a Full-Time Speech Therapist to join our team!

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) overall responsibility is to provide care to the resident at the highest level. The SLP will be assigned to multiple facilities and increased travel time is frequent. The SLP participates as an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, manages resources to meet the needs of the resident and related customers balancing outcomes and cost effective and efficient treatment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident/resident rehabilitation care within all general accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
• Evaluates residents/resident needs and establishes effective and efficient treatment plans for the resident/residents assigned.
• Manages and coordinates the supervision of treatment plans with all staff and other disciplines as indicated.
• Participates in the screening of all residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Provides feedback to the designated supervisor on all clinical and rehabilitation issues.
• Participates in all centre directed processes and services.
• Shows effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
• Performs necessary clinical documentation to meet centre, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
• Maintains complete, accurate and timely billing records to meet centre, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements
• Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
• Participates in in-service training programs as requested
• May travel to other facilities to provide services

Position Requirements
