Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and document speech and language rehabilitation plans in an inpatient setting. You will identify issues, adjust therapy as needed, and monitor patient progress while supporting a team dedicated to compassionate, high-quality care.

The role requires current state licensure or certification, CCC credentials, and CPR either at hire or within 30 days. A master’s degree is preferred, or a bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree or Bachelor’s degree with field experience
