Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Memorial Hospital at Gulfport, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver personalized speech and language therapy to patients. You will assess progress, adapt treatment plans, and document outcomes to support communication recovery in a rehabilitative setting.

Candidates should hold CCC certification and state licensure, with CPR certification either in place or obtainable within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred for speech-language pathology.
• Bachelor's degree with field experience acceptable if CCC is obtained.
• CCC certification required for practice.
• State licensure required by regulations.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education
