Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges in a supportive, technology-enabled environment. As part of a national inpatient rehabilitation leader, you will evaluate, develop, and document personalized treatment plans, track progress, and collaborate with a compassionate team to celebrate patient victories along the way.

Current licensure is required, CCC certification is preferred, CPR with hire timeline, and a Master’s degree

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
