Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of New England is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and support patients with communication challenges. You will develop customized plans and monitor progress in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, ongoing assessment, and teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff to achieve meaningful patient outcomes. A Master’s degree is preferred, with licensure and CCC certification required.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
