Job summary

Encompass Health in Columbus, GA is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver compassionate care and help patients overcome speech and language challenges in an inpatient setting.

You will evaluate, develop, and administer personalized therapy plans, document progress, and adjust treatment as needed. Current licensure, CCC, and CPR (within 30 days) are required; a Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or certification required.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
