Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients overcome speech and communication challenges. This role supports patients in a collaborative inpatient rehabilitation setting at a location near Columbus, GA.

The ideal candidate holds current state licensure, CCC, and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
