Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language needs in a supportive inpatient setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust therapy as needed to maximize communication outcomes.

Applicants should possess current state licensure, CCC certification, and CPR (or be willing to obtain within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master's degree preferred / Bachelor's degree with field experience
