Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team in Florida. You will evaluate, plan, and administer personalized speech-language therapy for patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to drive meaningful progress.

This role requires State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC certification, and CPR/BLS; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or be eligible for licensure.
• CCC certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree with relevant clinical experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech and language therapy for patients.
• Identify communication issues and modify therapy plans as needed.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and outcomes.
• Celebrate patient victories and contribute to a collaborative care environment.
