Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide customized therapy for patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient setting. You will join a nationwide leader in post-acute care and work with a supportive team using advanced therapy tools.

Current state licensure and CCC are required; CPR/BLS within 30 days; a Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's with field experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certif ication required by state regulations.
• CCC certification required (ASHA CCC)
• CPR/BLS required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized speech-language treatment plans.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes with the care team.
