Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver evidence-based therapy and improve communication for patients in our inpatient rehabilitation network. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

The role requires state licensure, CCC, and CPR certification, with opportunities for professional growth and continuing education across our nationwide locations.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
