Job summary

Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, communication, and swallowing abilities, delivering goal-oriented treatment to maximize functional communication and swallowing outcomes. The position requires a Master's degree per ASHA CCC-SLP requirements, NV state licensure as a Certified Speech Pathologist, and current BLS certification.

1–2 years of experience is preferred; CFY acceptable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree satisfying ASHA CCC-SLP requirements.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred.
• Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year.
• Current BLS certification.

Job Description

Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.

Qualifications

Education: Masters Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Experience: One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred.

License/Certification: Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.

Other

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
