Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks a Speech Pathologist to perform comprehensive evaluations of cognitive, communication, and swallowing functions and provide targeted treatment to maximize patient outcomes. The role requires a Master’s Degree per ASHA CCC-SLP requirements, Nevada licensure, and current BLS certification, with 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Job Description

Qualifications
Education

Master’s Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Experience

One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred.

License/Certification

Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.

Other

Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
