The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate cognitive, communication, and swallowing functions and to plan goal-oriented treatment.
Candidates should hold a Master’s degree meeting ASHA CCC-SLP requirements, Nevada State License, and current BLS certification; CFY in process acceptable. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and professional growth within UHS subsidiaries.
Responsible for providing a comprehensive evaluation of cognitive, communication skills and/or swallowing function and providing goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential.
Masters degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Masters Degree from a university program satisfying the ASHA academic and intern requirements for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
One (1) to two (2) years experience preferred.
Nevada State License as a Certified Speech Pathologist. ASHA CCC-SLP certification or in the process of completing Clinical Fellowship year. Current BLS certification.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
