Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury seeks a Speech Pathologist to help patients overcome communication challenges in a supportive environment. You will evaluate, plan, and administer personalized therapy with state-of-the-art tools, contributing to our mission of compassionate rehabilitation.

The role requires state licensure, CCC certification, CPR, and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or expected.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients, develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
• Identify speech and language issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track, document patient progress and treatment response.
• Celebrate patient improvements and communicate outcomes to care team.
