Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Salisbury is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy for patients with speech and language challenges in a supportive inpatient setting.

You will document progress, adapt treatment plans, and collaborate with a compassionate care team within a nation-leading rehabilitation network that emphasizes growth, education, and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification completed or in progress.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
