Provides speech-language pathology services by coordinating consultations and diagnostic evaluations with patients having known or suspected communication disorders and/or oropharyngeal dysphagia; interpreting assessment data; planning and performing speech-language pathology treatment intervention programs when appropriate to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach maximum potential. Provides patient care to all age groups including neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Responsible for supervision of rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers, and may be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.
