Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language difficulties. You will design individualized plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in our inpatient setting.

Current state licensure and CCC certification are required, with CPR due within 30 days of hire. A Master’s degree is preferred, with a dedication to compassionate care and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or must be obtained prior to hire.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred, or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and treatment response.
• Celebrate patient victories and provide ongoing support.
