Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy for patients with speech and language challenges. You will work within our inpatient rehabilitation setting to support communication goals and improve quality of life.

The role requires state licensure or certification, CCC certification, and CPR; a Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCCCertification required (ASHA)
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s degree (preferred)
