Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Lakeview is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide speech and language rehabilitation services. You will develop individualized plans, assess progress, and coordinate care within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include state licensure or certification, CCC, and CPR (or within 30 days of hire). A Master’s degree is preferred, or a Bachelor’s with relevant field experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• CCC certification and current state licensure are required or will be required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and progress along the rehabilitation journey.

Education
