ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware, invites a Speech Language Pathologist to join our inpatient acute care rehabilitation team. This part-time role (40 hours biweekly) focuses on assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders within a patient-family centered approach.

You will work with a dynamic inter/trans-disciplinary team, provide education to patients and families, and participate in a weekend and holiday rotation as part of the coverage plan.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware.
• CCC or CF Certification required or eligible.
• CPR Certification required.

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a part time (40 hours biweekly) Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. One weekend day per month and one holiday per year required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
• Provide patient and family education and training

Education and experience requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
• CPR Certification
• Acute care experience preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
