Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a per diem Out Patient Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease. Location coverage includes Wilmington, Newark, Glasgow and Middletown in Delaware.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating and implementing treatment plans, educating patients and families, and completing all documentation. Requires Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, DE licensure eligibility, CCC/CF, and CPR

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware required.
• CCC or CF Certification required.
• CPR Certification required.

ChristianaCare is recruiting for a per diem Out Patient Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease process. This position may cover Speech Therapy locations in Wilmington, Newark, Glasgow and Middletown.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
• Provide patient and family education and training
• Completes all documentation related to patient care

Education and experience requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
• CPR Certification

This is a flat rate position, any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable differentials. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
