Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a partner of Washington Regional, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to provide patient-centered therapy for speech and communication challenges. You will evaluate, plan, implement, and adjust treatment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes.

A current state license and CCC are required, with CPR either current or obtained within 30 days of hire. Master’s degree preferred or a Bachelor’s with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• CCC certification required or in process.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred or Bachelor’s with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients, develop and administer personalized treatment plans.
• Identify speech-language issues and modify therapy as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories and drive functional communication improvements.
